The cutting height is adjusted using a lever that is easy to operate. When you release the lever, the mower deck is automatically locked. The blade is engaged by operating the switch near the handlebars. The electromagnetic clutch has an integrated blade brake. The mower deck with one blade has a cutting width of 98 cm. The cutting height can be continuously adjusted from a minimum of 3.5 to a maximum of 13.5 cm. The height adjustment of 10 cm allows you to overcome road bumps and work on uneven ground.  The mower deck is always kept parallel to the ground, which improves the cutting quality even after years.

The blade, made of special steel, has a special profile that reduces noise to a minimum. The ends are flexible and shock-resistant. The blades are reversible: when one of the blades is worn, simply turn it over. The entire structure of the cutting deck is not afraid of impacts against stones. The large diameter blade shaft and the cutting gear guarantee reliability even in the most difficult conditions, with long working hours and in total safety. The cutting deck is equipped with side protective covers that can be lifted to facilitate maintenance and cleaning. The 2-cylinder 4-stroke petrol engine with 22 HP net power is equipped with a cyclonic air filter specifically designed for dusty areas, which is easily accessible for cleaning. The stainless steel exhaust is quiet. The 13-litre fuel tank is equipped with a large opening to facilitate maintenance and a fuel gauge on the tank cap.

The permanent all-wheel drive transmission consists of 2 hydrostatic transmissions. The rear hydrostatic transmission is equipped with an integrated differential lock, is operated by a pedal and proves to be indispensable when overcoming slopes with low grip. The large Acker tire profiles allow greater traction and comfort on crumbly ground. The steered swinging front axle is equipped with a hydraulic system which, together with the differential lock on the rear axle, ensures permanent all-wheel drive on all wheels even at maximum steering angle and without the wheels slipping.

One of the advantages of four-wheel drive is that you can stop safely on slopes without slipping, just by operating the drive lever and engaging reverse gear. The hydrostatic transmissions on the front axle are protected by a steel shield that is not afraid of impacts. The Climber 10 is equipped with steel hydraulic hoses that connect the two hydrostatic transmissions. Together with the fan for cooling the oil on the rear hydrostatic transmission, they help to reduce the operating temperature and increase performance even under intensive working conditions. The Acker tire profiles ensure grip on uneven ground with low traction. The front wheels are treated with anti-puncture protection as standard to prevent flat tires.

Thanks to a top speed of 9 km/h, the Climber 10 is guaranteed to move quickly. On fairly uneven ground, the mowing deck can be raised up to 13.5 cm from the ground.

The roll bar can be folded back or up within a few seconds using two practical levers to facilitate working under low branches.

The construction of each part and the choice of components, from the simplest to the most complex, are of high quality. The structure of the chassis, the cutting gear, the cutting deck, is made in the Grillo workshops in Italy using high quality materials and the most modern technology, with the aim of always having 100% controlled quality. The painting of Grillo machines is carried out using a double electrostatic powder coating. First there are the washing baths and preparation, then a first protective layer is applied which, together with the oven firing, provides the best basis for the finishing application. The second layer of paint and a further oven firing at 190°C give the hardness and shine that characterize our products. All Climber 10AWD27 machines are meticulously assembled and tested by qualified personnel. The final test involves a test of all functions for each Climber 10 AWD27. Another guarantee of a high quality product.
