Powerful engine

The X117R models have a 500 cc engine. It produces 10.84 kW of power at 3,100 rpm.

The engine has the right size and the necessary features for difficult mulching, mowing and bagging conditions:

• The electronic ignition enables quick starting.
• A return spring ensures that the driver does not accidentally leave the hand throttle in the choke position.
• Cast iron cylinder liners increase the service life of the engine.
• Overhead valves ensure excellent performance and economical fuel consumption.

A tool-free engine oil drain is easily accessible and easy to use for oil changes.  The large diameter filler neck opening is conveniently located under the tractor seat:

• The capacity is 9 l.
• The tank can be easily filled without spilling.
• The tank cap is practically connected to the fuel tank.
• The sealed lid prevents vapors from escaping from the tank.

Hydrostatic Kanzaki® Tuff Torq® transmissions

The hydrostatic Kanzaki® Tuff Torq® transmission allows for stepless selection of the driving speed and easy change of the driving direction. Foot pedals arranged next to each other control the speed and direction of travel:

• The control element, which is similar to the accelerator pedal in a car, ensures easy operation.
• The driver can change direction without lifting his foot from the platform.
• The large pedal surface ensures optimal driver comfort.

The appropriate transmissions are used in each model depending on the size of the rear tires and the tractor power requirements to ensure outstanding performance and reliability:

• Tuff Torq TLT200 – X107 and X127
• Tuff Torq K46 – X167, X117R, X147R and X167R

Indestructible steel frame

             
The solid one-piece frame is made of 2.7mm steel. The full-length machine-welded frame is made of high-strength steel, which ensures high reliability and long life. The one-piece fender deck is bolted to the frame.

The front axle is made of solid cast iron that does not bend:

• A rack and pinion steering system like that found in a car provides a powerful, low-effort system that allows for tight turns.
• Grease nipples allow for regular lubrication to maintain easy steering and reduce wear.
• Large 1.9 cm diameter front axle hubs ensure excellent durability.

THE HOOD DOES NOT DENT, DOES NOT RUST AND OFFERS GOOD VISIBILITY WITH HIGH-QUALITY HEADLIGHTS!

           The hood is made of material colored during injection molding:

• Lower noise level.
• Does not rust and cannot be dented.
• Openings on both sides of the hood allow plenty of cooling air to enter while keeping noise emissions low.
• Two headlights ensure good visibility even when operating in the dark.

With the RIO function (Reverse Implement Option)

If the operator feels it is necessary to keep the mower (or other attachment) running while reversing, he should first bring the tractor to a stop and then look behind the machine to make sure there are no people there. Then the RIO switch must be activated (pressed). The RIO button must be held down when the machine is in reverse (on hydrostatic models, the brake pedal must be depressed).

The operator can then release the switch. The mower will continue to operate when reversing and will continue to operate when forward travel is resumed. This procedure must be repeated the next time the operator wants to mow the mower while reversing. If the mower is operating and the operator presses the reverse pedal before pressing the RIO switch, the mower will disengage.

Edge™ mower

The innovative design of the 92 cm (36 in.) Edge™ rear discharge mower deck combines the best features to provide reliability and superior performance when mowing and collecting grass clippings and leaves. The deck is pressed from 2.7 mm thick steel to provide smooth contours for a high-quality appearance and excellent performance.

Since the mower has no side discharge, it can mow effectively on both sides without any effort:

• A small storage compartment offers additional benefits.
• A standard V-belt and a blade design that does not require timing ensure high reliability and smooth operation.
• Offset mower blades allow blade overlap using a standard V-belt drive.
• The knives cut cleanly without hitting each other.
• A high-performance V-belt and a large, spring-loaded pulley transfer the power effectively and reliably to the mowing blades.
• The cutting height adjustment in steps of 0.64 cm makes it possible to operate the mower at the optimal cutting height.
• A quickly adjustable leveling system makes it easier to always align the mower correctly.

The underside of the mower is free of obstacles to ensure optimum cutting and collection performance. The clippings flow evenly through the mower and then up the ejector shaft into the collection container. Grass clippings are deposited to a minimum to enable easy and always effective cleaning:

• The specially shaped ejection blades (basic equipment) have large wings that throw the cutting waste into the ejection chute and into the collection container.
• The mower fills the 300-L (8.5-bu) grass catcher with a large amount of clippings and leaves.

There is a wash port on the mower to provide water to the bottom of the mower for easy cleaning after use:

The washing connection is equipped with a quick coupling for the rapid connection of hoses:

• Connect the hose and operate the mower to clean.
• The underside of the mower and the shaft are cleaned via the washing connection.
• Using the wash connection is most effective when cleaning is done immediately after mowing is completed.
• Operating the mower while the water is running will remove grass clippings.
• Using the wash port will prevent the buildup of material that could affect performance the next time the mower is used.

An adapter to connect the water hose to the washing connection can be purchased at your local store.

Large grass catcher with 300l capacity

The large capacity rear mounted grass catcher makes it easy to collect grass clippings and leaves. The rear mounting provides excellent manoeuvrability when mowing.

The 300L grass catcher holds enough grass clippings to allow longer mowing times between emptyings. Emptying the grass catcher is easy from the driver’s seat.

The sturdy plastic floor has a long service life even when working in tough conditions.

When the grass catcher is full, a warning light on the dashboard lights up and an audible warning signal sounds to alert the driver to turn off the PTO.

When the grass catcher is removed, a safety switch ensures that the mower cannot be operated until the rear deflector or mulching insert has been fitted. However, the engine runs and the tractor is functional, so the rear power lift can be used.
